Peace

The Good Shepherd by Bernhard Plockhorst
The Good Shepherd

I set the following scripture verses into a song and added it to my "Wordsong Collection."

Is 26:3,4
1Cor7;15
Eph2;1

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee.
Because he trusteth in Thee, Oh Lord, because he trusteth in Thee.
Trust in the Lord forever, for in the Lord, Jehovah, is everlasting strength.
God hath called us to perfect peace, for He alone is our Peace.

I felt led today to post this previous post on peace. This song I wrote is one of my most frequently viewed posts. I'm sure it is mainly because people are looking up the picture. I am hoping to be able to get some of my music on my blog soon.

Cathy, I never saw this before! You wrote these beautiful words? They are wonderful! I'm glad you posted them again.

Yes, Maxine, I wrote the words and music. Thank you. Rather, the Lord gave it to me. I think the music is pretty. I recently played it on my new piano and made a little CD, so I could put it on the computer. I didn't sing, as my voice is not what it used to be. I just have to figure a way to convert it to mp3. And my computer needs more memory. I really need a new one to do all the things I want to with music.

A few of my songs are under Songs. But I have not put the best ones on
my blog yet. I really want to get them puglished.

Hello Cathy, I'm feeling well enough to catch up on everyones posts. I love the picture of the children on the bridge.

Hoping you are well.

Just beautiful. I love the way your wrap scripture into lyrics. For me - Scripture set to melody always helps hide the Word in my heart.

Theresa, I'm sorry you've been sick, but glad you're feeling better. I think that is Winnie the Pooh and Christopher, isn't it? I'm doing pretty well, but staying in a lot because of the heat.

Thanks, Jodi, I love to sing scripture.

Scriptures songs are the easiest way for me to memorize.
The Lord has blessed you with a special gift!

Have a blessed Sunday,

Sharon

Thank you, Sharon and for your visit. I was just playing that scripture song, trying to get it recorded, so I might one day put it on my blog.

"God hath called us to perfect peace, for He alone is our Peace."

He is our peace amidst the storms of life. He is peace personified.

I hope your day is lovely, Cathy.
