Psalm 23

I wrote this music to Psalm 23.

Check this out on Chirbit

Psalm 23

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
he leadeth me beside still waters.
He restoreth my soul:
he leadeth me in paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley
of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil:
for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me
in the presence of mine enemies:
thou anointest my head with oil;
my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life;
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Really this music is not perfect enough for me. But I did make it through it. :)

Thank you and sweet blessings Cathy... What a beautiful and peaceful melody for Psalm 23!
I did not follow the Psalm right away as I listened and I felt exactly where we were when I needed to try and find the part of Psalm 23. I was at the exact line where I should have been because it followed and ended correctly...so I'd say that you were more perfect than you think or give yourself credit... perfectly metered & pace and the notes were expressive of the verse... Truly delightful peace to listen and hear while I REST!
(I was not planning on visiting around the blogs yet but when I saw that yours was your own composition of Psalm 23, I was drawn to come hear and I'm glad I did)!

Love & peace(((hugs)))Peggy
anyone know what's happened to Denise? Haven't seen or heard from her since Weds. Pray for Shortybear

Ah, the 23rd Psalm! I can quote this but it was a pleasure just to sit and slowly read and mediate on the words. Our minds are in the same place this weekend. Thank you for posting.
