I love lighting up tea light candles at night. It's amazing how much illumination one tiny tea light can do in the dark "downstairs"... Can't imagine if many of us are reflecting that Light in this dark world. God bless.

I love this Cathy. Last year at our Christmas Eve service, they turned off the lights in our the lights in our sanctuary. Everyone held an unlit candle. Our pastor began with one lit candle, and lit one other. In turn each person lit another and another and soon the sanctuary glowed with light. As we allow our light to shine before others - the light spreads.

Thanks for sharing this today.

Blessings,
Joan

I know that was beautiful, Joan. I wrote a post about Moravian Christmas Lovefeasts here: http://melodiesandhymnsongs.blogspot.com/2007/12/moravians-traditions.html, and there are some pictures of candles all lit in the service.
