How to pet a Kitty

This is my rescued wildcat, Honey. I have to be careful with him. He does love my lap now though. And I have even been able to pick him up from the back. He does not like to be approached from the front, though I can rub his head. He is a good cat and knows what I mean when I say "No." He also does not come in my room at night, but comes running in when I get up to cut off the radio.

I saw this on Twitter and thought it was cute.

Cathy, I loved that! I loved the part about their bellies being like the hair of angels... I can imagine this to be true. Your Honey is just beautiful too! I have a very bit soft spot for animals, so I always enjoy reading posts about them.

God bless you dear sister...

Blessings Cathy and Honey...

She is so precious and sweet looking!

I really enjoyed the cartoonish truths on how to pet a kitty! I think it works for dogs, too!

I'm so glad that he's mellowed out and enjoys your lap. I'm sure he purrs frequently... I hope Honey was not the reason that you needed a new laptop (from the cartoon pics)... glad Honey knows NO. I think that kitten or puppy fur feels so soft and belly hair is softer yet. EnJOY your Honey!

Peace,
Peggy
(i think I'm caught up with you)???

That is so cute! I can see Miss Savannah's motives in all of those! She and I had some quality lap time this morning - such fun!

Honey is a beautiful cat - the name is perfect as he is the color of honey. Reminds me a bit of my Charlie (only Charlie is a bit darker).

I loved the cartoon. I have something that someone sent me years ago called Cat Rules. I'll send it to you by email - it had to have been written by a cat owner, because the writer knew about cat's personalities.

Have a wonderful day!
