Moravian Music Concert - Hosanna

I posted this last year for Palm Sunday. I love the Moravian song, Hosanna, Blessed Is He That Comes.

i remember being a young catholic girl, and putting my new palm in the crucifix on my wall, i would fall asleep staring at it, wondering if Jesus was pleased :)

How lovely! And perfect for this final Sunday of Lent 2011 to celebrate Palm Sunday. I shared another of the sweet Hosanna praise and worship songs - Hosanna in the Highest. Isn't it awesome how creative God is! Have a blessed week.

Have you been to Trumpet in the Land? It's the story of the Moravian Missionaries held in an outdoor theatre in Ohio? When we lived near there we went every year. We've gone back a couple times since moving to Indiana. Your song brought back the memories of the drama. So beautiful.

Blessings,
Pamela

I have had so much upheaval in my home these past couple of weeks I didn't realise it was Palm Sunday until our Pastor said it in church..I have never had this happen before..then I really began to think, it was such a blessed time, a time when Jesus knew what was to be, yet gave with a will heart. God Bless you heaps..

Beautiful!!! Thank you for sharing with us in reminder of our precious LORD!

This time of Holy week, along with Christmas, are the two most treasured times of the year for my life as a Christian. I stand in awe of our Great LORD!

Praying for God's protection over you, Cathy as I listen to the terrible storms and death and destruction! Praising Him for you honoring Him with the beautiful Moravian chorus of HOSANNA!

Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord! May we exalt Him this day with our PALMS raised.
Thank you for letting me know you are alive and ok! Continuing to keep you in my thoughts and prayers as another system is forming...may God break its power and destructive force, saving lives and protecting many.

Love you and a big hug... (did you ever hear from Denise? Hope she is getting better and someone goes there and let's us know soon how she's doing) Peace and REJOICE!
Peggy

Cathy, I enjoyed this very much.

You know - I always thought "Hosanna" was the same as "Hallelujah" - but no, it means "Save us."

And it's only because He DID save us, that we can shout HALLELUJAH!!

Have a wonder-full Easter morning.

GOD BLESS!
