I love the picture of Jesus as my Shepherd carrying the lambs to safety. I feel safe in His arms.

There is something comforting for me to envision the a shepherd carrying a little lamb. There is even more comforting to know the Good Shepherd carries us in the same manner.
Blessings,
Joan
Awesome! That's what I need EVERY DAY! Such a good reminder to surrender all to God! Have a blessed day!
Lovely.......I wrote a poem a few years back of Jesus dealing with me as a scruffy old sheep........He is so tender as a shepherd.
I, too, am grateful to have Jesus as my Shepherd. That truly is safety.
I'm so thankful He loves us and nestles us just like the loving shepherd.
Thank you for this word today!
Oh that's so pretty, and I love the flower in your top-right sidebar.
I love the painting. Reminds me of my Caleb safe in Jesus' arms, but really...so am I!
I have always loved lambs. My mother said when i was four years old, when they could not find me, they would look in the field where the sheep were and I would be out there chasing them. My Dad bought me two baby lambs and i fed them with a bottle.
I am glad that I am a lamb who belongs to the chief shepherd.
Love to be here. Thanks for sharing this powerful words...of Jesus!
What a perfect place to be...carried...
beautiful Cathy!
Blessings Cathy,
Jesus is the Perfect Lamb!
Jesus is the Shepherd of us as His sheep.
Waiting for the Shepherd's Voice as He will come to gather those who hear Him and know Him and obey Him.
Resting in that Jesus gathers us in His arms just as He does all our tears, heartaches, worries or whatever burden we are carrying.
This is so beautiful - both the image and the verse from Isaiah.
Wonderful Word even though I'm a day late.Thank you Cathy.
Love and hugs,
Peggy
