Word Filled Wednesday

My Shepherd

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the
sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were
born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will
of man, but of God.
John 1:12-13

Amen, it's only through believing in His Son that we earn the right to be His children.

painting is so touching and beautiful! I love that image of the Good Shepherd.

I'm so thankful for His power and that I am one of the ones that received Him like you. Ahhhh (sigh)
the Most High God and we belong to Him! Thank you Cathy for reminding us.

Talk about perfect timing. Yesterday I was listening to a sermon all about taking a new look at the old familiar and sweetly comforting Bible verses in Psalm 23 AND he quoted another excellent book I REALLY need to read - A Shepherd looks at psalm 23 - it's an oldie AND a goldie! :) Thank you! :)
