Blessings to you my friend.
Precious lyrics! Have a blessed weekend, Cathy.
This has absolutely become one of my favorite Easter hymns in the last few years. So beautiful!
This is one of my favorite hymns! One of our song leaders also loves it, so it still gets added into our rotation. Thanks for sharing this one today.
My favorite verse:
"What language shall I borrow
To thank Thee, dearest Friend,
For this, Thy dying sorrow,
Thy pity without end?
Oh, make me thine forever!
And should I fainting be,
Lord, let me never, never,
Outlive my love for Thee."
Sweet!
Happy Saturday, Cathy!
Beautiful, thought-provoking song!
I remember this song from my childhood. Thank you for coming by today. It is always nice to hear from you.
Cheryl
I don't believe I've ever heard this one, Cathy. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful Hymn !
I have loved this hymn since the first time I heard it. I think it is written in a minor key and has a little different sound. So beautiful.
Blessings,
Charlotte
