Bing Crosby - Easter Parade

This is just for fun. Some things always make me think of my mother. She loved the song, Easter Parade, written by Irvin Berlin in 1933. I also remember going downtown shopping for shoes and hats for Easter.

Oh...thank you for posting that, Cathy. Reminds me of my mother, too - and shopping for Easter dresses, hats, white patent leather shoes, gloves and layers and layers of crinolines. Sweet, sweet memories indeed.

Well, I never had an easter bonnet, but I still enjoyed that! I haven't tried putting a video on my site yet...guess that's next on my list!

Hmmm, I tried to leave a comment, but didn't work! Anyway, I just said that I'd never worn an easter bonnet, but I like the song!

You're welcome, Patricia, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Yes, I remember those shopping days too.

Deb, hats were really in style then. Mother used to sing the song, and I played it on the piano.

I will be glad to help you with the videos.

Yes, Mimi, things have just gotten so casual these days.
