Thank you all for your sweet, kind words. The flower is a Rose of Sharon I believe, hip chick. My neighbor has a huge shrub, and I have a couple of bushes too. I think that picture is a closeup from my bush. I just LOVE taking pictures of them.

Such a beautiful flower and verse! Our Rose of Sharon are just now in full bloom. The Japenese Beatles love them so we have to spray for them.
