This will really bless the Grandma's like me. It brought back memories of listening to it many years ago. It was a very popular song. I saw it at a Spiritual Sunday post at The Sound How Sweet.

Yes I remember this song and Perry Como! A blast from the past! Thank, Cathy.
I love that the lyrics are prayers in itself. How many songs nowadays have we heard that they all sound like love songs but not many like these? I miss songs like these. Like a soft prayer...singing His Name "Lord"...God bless you sister Cathy and praying that you're strong by His grace.

Can you imagine Hollywood singing that today???? It is hard for me to believe that people have never heard that song before. I wonder when they quit playing it on the radio?

I read where Perry Como wrote the lyrics, and I believe it was on his CD in 1956 with "I Believe."
Thanks for this. Perry Como was a big part of my young days. It's amazing when you look back on TV from the 50's how God was glorified. Then the 60's came and everything began to change. So sad.
