Blessings Cathy...Keith Green what a loss...28 only...(he's a year older than me)... anyway, this song takes me way back to the 70s even though others have done it since, just not the same as the original one. I so enjoyed seeing him sitting at the piano & singing! So much meaning in the words of "Your Love Broke Through"...and so thankful that God's love breaks through the hardest of hearts! Praying that happens for many hard hearted prodigals and others.

Thanks Cathy, enjoy a wonderful weekend in TSMSS & SS! So many great people sharing & inspiring us. Bless you for the many times you bless me. I noticed how SS posts earlier than TSMSS...hmmmm!
Waiting...

Love & hugs,
Peggy

What a great post!! Thanks for reminding me of Keith Green's legancy in music.

Thanks for stopping by and cmmentng on my post "The Secret." Renewing the mind with the Word of God and relinquishing the will and walking in obedience to the Spirit of God is the secret to living the victorious life. Shame on us for so often neglecting to do either or both! I am painfully behind on returning me some "comment love" to those who paused long enough to leave a note. For that I apologize, but occasionally life does get in the way.

In several weeks we are launching a new website for our ministry, Standng Near the Cross, and my blog will be incorporated into the website at www.jeanstockdale.com. I will continue to post on my current Typepad blog account for several months and have a link to the new blog when it goes live. I hope you will "make the move" with me and continue to stay in touch through the blogosphere. My goal is to encourage and inspire women through study of the Word of God-taking the profound truths of God's Word and making them practical for daily living!! May God bless you and keep you as the apple of His eye! Blessings.

This is good, Cathy. Peggy mentioned Keith Green's untimely death. The accident happened near my hometown. He had a ministry here called "Last Days Ministry." The property where the accident happened is now owned by Teen Mania, another wonderful outreach ministry.

Blessings,
Joan

Thanks for sharing this, Cathy. I'm not that familiar with him, but I sure am sorry to hear that he died, and that it was so sudden. I may have heard about it but I'm not sure.

I was trying to leave a comment here this morning when our electricity went off and shut my computer off. I heard a lot about Keith Green but had never heard him sing. I need to go to YouTube and familiarize myself with his songs. This song is a good one.

Hello, Cathy. I ran across your blog because I was looking up Keith Green. If you are interested, I have a YouTube address, emhmusicplus, and have sung some of the songs by Keith Green as well. Please check it out; let me know if I can come and share some songs with you and your friends. There is no fee: I believe the music of Keith Green should be shared for free.
And if you go to the YouTube, let me know what you think of it; I would enjoy some feedback.
