Word Filled Wednesday

Rainstorm

"God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth
he, which we cannot comprehend. For he saith to the snow, Be thou on the earth; likewise to the small rain, and to the great rain of his strength."
-- Job 37:5-6

I thought I would post these verses, since we are under severe storm and flood warnings tonight.

Hi Cathy, GA is having lots of rain also. We were having our water line replaced from the street to the house and you have never seen so much mud! I will be happy to see the sun again. Hope you are warm & cozy inside.

Yes we too, on the first day of summer are having storm and flood warnings and while I pray that people and property will be protected ...I so rejoice to see the dams being filled and my garden being green and lush.
Pray you are kept safe.

It's funny Cathy, our sky here in Georgia looked like that sky in your picture yesterday! What a verse...He is aware, He controls...wonderful Word shared Cathy!

So fitting. We had lots of rain yesterday and were under a tornado watch but God took care of us and nothing but rain came that I know of. Praise His Holy name.

Sorry to hear about the bad weather! I hope it passes you by. We've had lots of snow and it's very cold but I'll take that over rain and flooding.

Blessings Cathy,

I pray that you are safe and warm!
Beautiful photo of a storm and wonderful word you've chosen! Though we cannot understand, God is in control! Hope that sun returns and the Son shines warmly on you, drying up the flood... Noah's ark looks like a good idea, eh? At least he knew to obey God, unlike others & leaders in high places.

May God put a hedge of protection around you. I did not know you have storms at this time.

I love your precious piano ornament of stocking? How cute!!!

Thanks for your early hour visits!
Always brings good cheer my way.

Love and hug ~ Peggy

We've been having everything from large storms to small storms all week, so these are especially encouraging Bible verses for us as well. :) Thank you for a sweet reminder that all our storms - physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual - are under His control! :)

PS Today is last day for the Digital Picture Viewer Frame give away at my site - just have to leave a comment at the specific post talking about it - you can get there easily from the link in the right column at SandwichINK :) It makes a lovely Christmas gift full of your sweet family memories. :)

I am thankful you did not have flooding Cathy. It is very cold here in GA too. Unfortunately I have an appt. to get my hair trimmed at 9 am so I will have to bundle up! Hope you will have a good day.
