Church in the wildwood

I almost forgot Then Sings My Soul Saturday tonight. It is past my bedtime, and I just saw this song on the Gaithers program. It reminded me of my mother. She really loved this song.

I love this song. My parents had that video and we passed it along to the assisted living home where my mom lived before she passed. They played it there all the time. Music speaks so beautifully to everyone.

I used to play this song on the piano.
I no longer own a piano, but still like this song.

Aww... "the little, brown church in the wildwood..." What a charming imagery! We were taught this song in first grade (which was like 33 years ago) I love the Gaithers too.

These old classic hymns are so precious. We must keep sharing them so new generations can understand the depth of our faith.

Oh, I love this. I grew up in a little (white) church. It's still beautiful, well kept and filled each week.

Have a beautiful week.

Hi Cathy,

I think this was great. Something different, and I liked how everyone was wearing clothes from that time period.

That is really special to have things that bring our loved ones to mind, and songs have a wonderful way of doing that.

Well it's way past when I should be going to bed, it's 1:15 AM where I live.

God bless you friend & your in my prayers continually. Talk to you soon.
Hugs~ Michele
