There's not much going on lately, except all the election news. I really could not thing of a post, so I thought I would just show some pictures.
I have been noticing this pretty bush blooming in my next door neighbor's yard. My neighbor across the street told me it is a camellia bush, I believe.
This is a fern in my neighbor across the street's back yard. It is pretty with the yellow blooms. I think he said it is an Everlasting Fern.
I noticed how big this hosta was. It is a Blue Hosta. He said the leaves get to be 14" wide.
And I'm at it again, with the moon picture taking. But it looked different and so pretty with the shadows. You can see the shadows better when the picture is larger. by clicking on it.
This one has the leaves showing in front of it.
In this picture, the moon is so clear.
Thanks for looking at my pictures.

Hebrews 12:2
Looking unto Jesus.
It is ever the Holy Spirit's work to turn our eyes away from self to Jesus; but Satan's work is just the opposite of this, for he is constantly trying to make us regard ourselves instead of Christ. He insinuates, "Your sins are too great for pardon; you have no faith; you do not repent enough; you will never be able to continue to the end; you have not the joy of His children; you have such a wavering hold of Jesus." All these are thoughts about self, and we shall never find comfort or assurance by looking within. But the Holy Spirit turns our eyes entirely away from self: He tells us that we are nothing, but that "Christ is all in all." Remember, therefore, it is not thy hold of Christ that saves thee-it is Christ; it is not thy joy in Christ that saves thee-it is Christ; it is not even faith in Christ, though that be the instrument-it is Christ's blood and merits; therefore, look not so much to thy hand with which thou art grasping Christ, as to Christ; look not to thy hope, but to Jesus, the source of thy hope; look not to thy faith, but to Jesus, the author and finisher of thy faith. We shall never find happiness by looking at our prayers, our doings, or our feelings; it is what Jesus is, not what we are, that gives rest to the soul. If we would at once overcome Satan and have peace with God, it must be by "looking unto Jesus." Keep thine eye simply on Him; let His death, His sufferings, His merits, His glories, His intercession, be fresh upon thy mind; when thou wakest in the morning look to Him; when thou liest down at night look to Him. Oh! let not thy hopes or fears come between thee and Jesus; follow hard after Him, and He will never fail thee.
"My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesu's blood and righteousness:
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly lean on Jesu's name."

This thought came to me the other day ~ that I need to pray for the truth to be revealed. And I am praying for God to have mercy on us in our country.
Ps 25:10 -
All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
Ps 40:11 -
Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.
Ps 85:10 -
Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
Ps 85:11 -
Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.
Ps 86:15 -
But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.
Ps 91:4 -
He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
Pr 12:19 -
The lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment.
Isa 26:2 -
Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in.
Ho 4:1 -
Hear the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.
Joh 1:14 -
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Joh 14:6 -
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Joh 15:26 -
But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
Joh 17:17 -
Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
1Co 13:6 -
Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
2Co 4:2 -
But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
Eph 4:25 -
Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
2Ti 2:15 -
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
2Th 2:13 -
But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

Deuteronomy 33:29
Happy art thou, O Israel; who is like unto thee, O people saved by the Lord!
He who affirms that Christianity makes men miserable, is himself an utter stranger to it. It were strange indeed, if it made us wretched, for see to what a position it exalts us! It makes us sons of God. Suppose you that God will give all the happiness to His enemies, and reserve all the mourning for His own family? Shall His foes have mirth and joy, and shall His home-born children inherit sorrow and wretchedness? Shall the sinner, who has no part in Christ, call himself rich in happiness, and shall we go mourning as if we were penniless beggars? No, we will rejoice in the Lord always, and glory in our inheritance, for we "have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but we have received the spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father." The rod of chastisement must rest upon us in our measure, but it worketh for us the comfortable fruits of righteousness; and therefore by the aid of the divine Comforter, we, the "people saved of the Lord," will joy in the God of our salvation. We are married u nto Christ; and shall our great Bridegroom permit His spouse to linger in constant grief? Our hearts are knit unto Him: we are His members, and though for awhile we may suffer as our Head once suffered, yet we are even now blessed with heavenly blessings in Him. We have the earnest of our inheritance in the comforts of the Spirit, which are neither few nor small. Heritors of joy for ever, we have foretastes of our portion. There are streaks of the light of joy to herald our eternal sunrising. Our riches are beyond the sea; our city with firm foundations lies on the other side the river; gleams of glory from the spirit-world cheer our hearts, and urge us onward. Truly is it said of us, "Happy art thou, O Israel; who is like unto thee, O people saved by the Lord?"

There is a video about the economy that needs to be seen. Go here to read about the liberals who are attempting to prevent the truth from being shown. Click on "Burning Down the House" to watch the video.
Christian Film Hits Hollywood
Please look...
This is a post from a year ago. I thought it would be good for those who have not seen it, especially during these times.
I found this sweet video on You-Tube, and I believe it is a good prayer for these times. It would be so wonderful if more little children in America sang to God.

I don't usually write about politics, but I wonder if you have seen something that is going on during this election. I find this totally ridiculous and disgusting, considering the state of our economy, and the people who are suffering. See the following links.

Springstein, Joel to Hold Joint Concert for Obama
I just had to add this link. Obama channel on the Dish Network ~
Personally, I wonder where all the foreign money is coming from. My guess is from terrorists, our enemies, and maybe those countries that want assistance from his Global Poverty relief program. I know I am not the only one who thinks Obama could help some of the poor people, he is always talking about helping. I wonder why all this money is needed, and I hope he does not succeed at buying the election.
Sorry about this post, my friends, you know I don't usually write about these things. I guess there is just so much going on with the economy right now, and I do keep up with the news.
