I found this funny video at my friend Sally's. Her blog is very interesting and cute with cartoons.
And at a friend of hers blog I found another very cute dog video here.
Sally also shared this cute picture about loving blogging friends and sending a big hug. Please take it for your blog to remember that you are loved.

I just had to refer you to Jill's post here with words from our forefathers about our country, since everybody wants change. These videos really give you something to think about. How far we have strayed from our beginnings! Many are going to be surprised at the changes that will take place. I have even heard speculation about changing the Constitution.

A friend and I were discussing how we need to stop focusing on the news, and to spend time with the Lord in His Word. Then I found this lovely video tonight.

A friend of mine with a private blog recently had many tributes to President Bush.
President Bush Welcome Home Back To Texas video
There were many pictures on this website, but I believe they have been removed.
Bush's Better World - Overlooked Successes in Foreign Policy & Security
You can leave President Bush a thank you note at MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.
I almost forgot. Have you seen the new White House website? It is all about him.

I have been listening to Rush Limbaugh today, and he was very good at explaining what is happening today. So many people were calling in and talking about hope. I believe that we, as Christians, need to get busy and spread the good news that GOD IS OUR HOPE!
1Timothy 1:1 Paul, An apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope;
I am posting again what I posted last year on hope.
Well, I have just read something about a De Lurking week. This is to encourage folks who visit your blog to leave a comment. It would be nice to know those who read my blog that I don't know about. I would love to visit you. And I am very curious. I have noticed a visitor who used to visit me all the time from Reston, Virginia. It could be someone I know, as I am not great at knowing where everybody is from. Please do leave a message, and let me know who you are. Thank you so much friends.

I found this video at Little Things In Life and liked it. I love that scripture verse ~ Isa 53:5 - But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

The Pentagon Channel has a video of the "Armed Forces Farewell" to Commander in Chief George W. Bush. Secretary of Defense, Robert Gates hosts the ceremony for President Bush at Fort Myer, VA. They also honored Mrs. Bush. It is long, but I watched the whole thing. Go to the Pentagon Channel and click on the Armed Forces Farewell video.
I just found a link to President Bush's last news conference here.

Cheryl at Cherdecor has blessed me with a sweet award.
Thank you so much, Cheryl. I have certainly enjoyed your friendship and blog.
To accept this award, I must mention who I received the award from
and link back to her/him. Then I am to write the following in my post:
"This blog invests and believes the PROXIMITY - nearness in space, time and relationships. These blogs are extremely charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give attention to these writers! Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this cleverly written text into the body of their award."
I am passing the award on to:
1.Sally
2.Deborah
3.Nancy
4.Patricia
5.Mimi
6.Aliene
7.Adrienne
8.Maxine

Song of Solomon 1:4
We will be glad and rejoice in Thee.
We will be glad and rejoice in Thee. We will not open the gates of the year to the dolorous notes of the sackbut, but to the sweet strains of the harp of joy, and the high sounding cymbals of gladness. "O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise unto the rock of our salvation." We, the called and faithful and chosen, we will drive away our griefs, and set up our banners of confidence in the name of God. Let others lament over their troubles, we who have the sweetening tree to cast into Marah's bitter pool, with joy will magnify the Lord. Eternal Spirit, our effectual Comforter, we who are the temples in which Thou dwellest, will never cease from adoring and blessing the name of Jesus. We WILL, we are resolved about it, Jesus must have the crown of our heart's delight; we will not dishonour our Bridegroom by mourning in His presence. We are ordained to be the minstrels of the skies, let us rehearse our everlasting anthem before we sing it in the halls of the New Jerusalem. We will BE GLAD AND REJOICE: two words with one sense, double joy, blessedness upon blessedness. Need there be any limit to our rejoicing in the Lord even now? Do not men of grace find their Lord to be camphire and spikenard, calamus and cinnamon even now, and what better fragrance have they in heaven itself? We will be glad and rejoice IN THEE. That last word is the meat in the dish, the kernel of the nut, the soul of the text. What heavens are laid up in Jesus! What rivers of infinite bliss have their source, ay, and every drop of their fulness in Him! Since, O sweet Lord Jesus, Thou art the present portion of Thy people, favour us this year with such a sense of Thy preciousness, that from its first to its last day we may be glad and rejoice in Thee. Let January open with joy in the Lord, and December close with gladness in Jesus.
