Flowers and Vegetables

I have been taking some more pictures of flowers and the cucumber and squash plants I decided to add to my little flower garden. I really haven't bought many flowers this year, and I can't work in this heat. The weeds are really noticeable in these pictures, and some mulch is greatly needed. But I just do what I can.

Blue bells ~ They won't stand up straight.

Cucumber plant ~

Tall flowers ~ Don't know their name

Squash plant ~

Pretty flowers ~ Haven't planted them yet

I love taking pictures of Rose of Sharons. This one is from my neighbor's huge bush.

From a bush in my yard ~

This is especially for my friend, who thought my trees were hacked in the winter, when cut back. This one is in the back yard. It looks much better without the long limbs that could break off in storms or fall in the neighbor's yard. The others are slowly growing back.

Thanks for looking at my pictures.

Pretty flowers, Cathy. And I see nothing wrong with your tree.

Thanks Barb. Remember when I showed the bare trees all cut back? It looks pretty now.

Beautiful! Looks like the Blue Bells are reaching for the sun. How's your squash doing? Ours is just so-so again this year. sigh.

Thank you, Dear ~ They are tall and on the ground, but very pretty. The squash plant is not doing as well as the cucumber. I'm up half the night, had to do a security scan!

I actually slept last night. whew! I was awake for a wee bit around 3 but thankfully was able to drift off until 6:14. :o)

About kitties...
We lock tHat cAt inside at night lest he bring in more than ticks. We're talking way bigger. ew. It took some time to train him but overall he's now fine with being cooped up..maybe he sees the wisdom in it all as he hasn't been in a midnight hour fight in quite some time. Do cats understand these things? Have they the capacity to sort through choices and reasonings? Hm.

I always love pictures of flowers. The Lord must love colors.

TJ, glad you enjoyed them. I guess that's why I've heard people talking about flowers beyond description in heaven ~ those who have died or dreamed.

Good, Jane, "that cat" probably feels safer inside. My "Honey" cat has been limping around on 3 legs. I think he has a small cut. Now how am I going to get that wildcat to a vet?!

Blessings Cathy...Such beautiful photos of God's perfection in nature...in the flowers & the vege plants...Love the Blue Belles & the others were not opening up!

Glory to the Heavens that even the blue belles must bow their heads & proclaim the coming of the Son!

Happy 4th of July & thanks for your sweet visit! Peace & love of Jesus fill you!
Hugs,
Peggy

In South Florida, they STILL would be ready to fine you for hacking that tree. Now, it's top heavy and more likely to topple in high winds. Perhaps you don't have that problem.

Thank you, Peggy, that's sweet what you said about the blue bells bowing their heads. I don't have many flowers blooming in there right now. Blessings and Hugs back to you ~

Sally, thanks for your comments. All I have to say is I'm glad I don't live there, and I certainly could not afford to.

Thank you, Deby, It HAS gotten easier, though my camera is simple. I do love to take pictures, especially of flowers and the sky and moon.
