Christmas Joy

I just want to share with you a couple of wonderful Christmas links. At both of these sites, you will find a wealth of Christmas joy.

My friend, Barbara ~ 'Tis the Christmas Season, Holy Spirit inspired, at Barbara's Entourage!

And Peggy at Peggie's Place ~ A Top Ten Christmas at Peggie's Place.

You're welcome, Barb. I know you have done a lot of work on it, and I have certainly enjoyed it. :o)

Mrs. Cathy ~

I answered you on my blog but thought I'd bring the information to you as well.

A boy the age you asked about might like:

* A chess set (with a learn how book if he doesn't play yet).

* Collectible marbles

* More complicated Lego sets

* Books - Hardy Boys, Classics like Treasure Island, Kidnapped, and Swiss Family Robinson. Bob Jones Press also carries really good books for boys (and girls) divided appropriately by age.

* Adventures in Odyssey radio show tapes or CDs. This is a Christian radio show put on by Focus on the Family (James Dobson). Our family loves these tapes. My sisters and I both listened a lot at around 10 years old.

I hope this helps you out. No matter what you get, I'm sure the receiver of your gift will love it.

Merry Christmas!

Alright, Kelli, I'm sure you will enjoy them. :o)

Thank you so much for those great suggestions for my young grandson. I really appreciate them. You are very thoughtful.

B. - I am familiar with the Adventures in Odyssey, good idea. He already plays chess with his uncles when they come visit and loves it. Thanks again. Oh, and Merry Christmas to you too!

Thanks, Cathy! I didn't know Barbara had this website. At least if I did, I forgot about it.

You're welcome, Maxine. She has devotionals, other holidays and lots of information on it. She even has a newsletter. And she and Peggy are friends. :o)

Thanks for stopping by and reading about our cat!! i hated to have to do that but had been putting up with this for a long long time. Mostly because of my husband...he loved that cat. I just did not know what to do. We had tried all kinds of medicine and had spent money money money. I am glad this is over for now.
Hope you are having a blessed weekend.
