Even Weeds Have Flowers

Awhile back, I read somewhere that "even the weeds have flowers." That's just a phrase that stood out, and I can't remember anything more. I think it had something to do with trials and better times. Anyway, I just saw this post at Patricia's, We're kindred spirits..., that reminded me of some pictures I took of weeds with flowers. Patricia is an excellent photographer. I made most of these pretty far from my neighborhood, leaving my daughter's house. I call it the "country." I had fun looking for flowers in the weeds.

Thanks for looking at my pictures.

Hi Cathy, I've been known to let a weed stay in my garden just because it looks pretty to me!

Oh, Cathy - thank you for the linky love.

I think that what amazes me about weeds (and insects) is how beautiful God made those things we have a tendency to overlook. Beauty right under our noses that we walk past without a thought. That is why I love to photograph them - getting real close and catching a glimpse of the God's glory in that place. He truly is an awesome God.
