"He's My Lord"

This is a song I wrote while working at my church as a receptionist. Men have cried when I sang it to them.

You can find the music here.

John 14:6

He's My Lord

He's the light in the darkness, He's my Lord.
He's the strength in my weakness, He's my Lord.
He's the Way, the Truth, the Life, the Living Word.
Jesus Christ, the son of God, He's my Lord.

He's the love in my heart, He's my Lord.
He's the song in my spirit, He's my Lord.
He is everything my heart was seeking for.
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, He's my Lord.

He's the joy on the mountain, He's my Lord.
He's the peace in the valley, He's my Lord.
He's the Way, the Truth, the Life, the Living Word.
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, He's my Lord.

He's my hope for the future, He's my Lord.
He's my Blessed Redeemer, He's my Lord.
He's the King of Glory coming for His Bride.
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, He's my Lord.

That is so beautiful my sistah, Both the words and the music. Is that you playing the piano? I know why we have such a close spirit we both love to write music, songs, and poems. My husband is a professionl Jazz Piano player and he also played in the Army Band while in the Military. I write the words to our songs, and tell him how I want the melody to go and he composes the music and puts them on a CD. We also write songs for people who need a theme song for their conferences, retreats, whatever ministry event is going on. You will have to show me how to upload them okay so I can share them with you. HUgz Lorie

Cathy ~ What beautiful lyrics! I have tried to listen here and on your new website, but for some reason I can't hear anything. I'll have to fiddle with it and see if I can get it to play on my computer.
