Thoughts

I don't usually write about politics, but I wonder if you have seen something that is going on during this election. I find this totally ridiculous and disgusting, considering the state of our economy, and the people who are suffering. See the following links.

Secret, Foreign Money Floods into Obama Campaign

Springstein, Joel to Hold Joint Concert for Obama

I just had to add this link. Obama channel on the Dish Network ~

Personally, I wonder where all the foreign money is coming from. My guess is from terrorists, our enemies, and maybe those countries that want assistance from his Global Poverty relief program. I know I am not the only one who thinks Obama could help some of the poor people, he is always talking about helping. I wonder why all this money is needed, and I hope he does not succeed at buying the election.
Sorry about this post, my friends, you know I don't usually write about these things. I guess there is just so much going on with the economy right now, and I do keep up with the news.

Cathy, don't apologize for posting this. The public needs to see more from all of us. We are in a bad situation this election. If the truth doesn't get out, and CHANGE is made with the wrong person, then we are doomed for the next 4 years.

I agree with Barbara. We all need to talk about this election and get the truth out there.

Cathy, we need to pray like we've never prayed before. Our country - our world - needs God's direction like never before! We hold such power in our hands. The power of prayer. And the power of our vote! ~Adrienne~

Like others said. Do not apologize for this post. I went and read that first link and it gave me the same gut feeling I've been having for about a year now. I love what Adrienne said. She echoed my sentiments exactly. We must remember that our God is going to do whatever is right. I am sorry to say, though, that if the time is right for judgment for our moral decline, then we may see it in this election. But He will hold us fast, no matter what.

No apology necessary...the truth needs to get out..I am praying for the debate tonight...for the vote tomorrow..the stock market....
it seems to me that EVIL is rampant and maybe God might be a little fed up with things at the moment...we truly are last days believers and must pray like we have never prayed...we must get into the WORD...and we must share with others....
Jesus is coming..God is on the Throne and there are no surprises with HIM....Praise the Lord.

Cathy ~ I have so many thoughts about this election. A round of sickness running through the family has kept me offline, but to be honest, I've been a little uncertain what to post and what not to post about this election. Part of my uncertainty revolves around keeping up with any comments that might ensue. If I did find time to write out my thoughts, I know I wouldn't have time to defend my positions if someone wanted to "argue."

But ... I have greatly appreciated reading other's thoughts and am grateful for all the conservative minded folks that have posted links and willingly voiced their own ideas.

The possibility of Obama as President is very sad. As Maxine said, perhaps the time for judgment has arrived. I'm so glad I can rest in knowing that God chooses our leaders, and He holds His children safe in the palm of His hand.

Thank you all my friends who commented. I know we do need to keep praying, and I pray for God to have mercy on us.
Dear Jodi, I am praying for your loved one. I know this sickness is so hard on your family. I'm glad you got to visit for awhile tonight. Thank you for your comments. And yes, we are content to know God does take care of His own.
Love and Hugs,
Cathy
