Honoring President Bush

The Pentagon Channel has a video of the "Armed Forces Farewell" to Commander in Chief George W. Bush. Secretary of Defense, Robert Gates hosts the ceremony for President Bush at Fort Myer, VA. They also honored Mrs. Bush. It is long, but I watched the whole thing. Go to the Pentagon Channel and click on the Armed Forces Farewell video.

I just found a link to President Bush's last news conference here.

I was all for President Bush all through his time in office, but just recently I heard him say that he thought we all prayed to the same god, and a few other things that made me doubt his salvation. They say he has read the Bible completely through this year and now he says this?

Also, the things he has been doing in these last days of office are questionable. I don't know, what do you think?

He had a news conference this morning that had me thanking God for him.

lady jane, Thanks, I got the link from you, and Patricia also posted it.

Cheryl, I was for him too and still am. I didn't hear him say that. I don't question his salvation.

Sally, I'm so sorry I missed that!

I watched the news conference this morning and enjoyed it.

Cherdecor, I wonder if he was intending that since there is only one God, we all pray to the same God. Hmmm... I hadn't heard about this before.

Blessings... Polly

Polly, Thanks for visiting today. Doesn't you header look pretty!

Surely President Bush meant that we Christians pray to the same God.

I saw the News conference, and felt that he was very real. He sure has been slandered by the 3 major news networks...and then I think of Sarah Palin.....why aren't they doing the same to Caroline Kennedy, trying to become a senator...boy do things get crazy...and most Americans are oblivious.
