Word Filled Wednesday

Bible and Roses

Pr 4:20-22
My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.

Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.

For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

Word Filled Wednesday

So 2:12 -
The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;

I just had to do this, since I missed a first day of spring post. This is the view from my kitchen window. The lovely jonquils or daffodils, in the little rabbit vase my sister gave me, are from my neighbor's yard.

Garden Shop

Recently it was such a beautiful day, I went out for breakfast and then to my favorite garden shop, LA Reynolds, just to look around.

The entrance was very colorful, ready for fall.

These Moravian stars were hanging from the ceiling. They are very popular here as Christmas decorations. They are whiter than my picture.

The chrysanthemums were such lovely colors. My camera almost captured their beauty.

I thought this manger scene was beautiful, even though I believe it was acrylic.

I like this white Santa Claus.

Aren't these pretty birdhouses? I love how they are arranged.

This is all I bought. I love these decorative cabbages.

Thanks for looking at my pictures.

Birdbath and Chipmunks

Today I was going to show you some flowers and a little video of chipmunks playing at my neighbor's birdbath. But I can't get the video to upload. They were running back and forth in front of the the birdbath and eating birdseed.
My little cat, Jewels was watching with me. One little chipmunk walked right up to us, and I had to try to stop Jewels from chasing and catching her! It ran back into a gutter drain, and Jewels was really looking for it.

Here is a little picture of a chipmunk on my front porch last year.

His Strength Is Perfect

I don't know where I found this lovely video. The birds in it are precious. It means a lot to me now, as I have a heart test coming up soon.

Outing at the Village

My grandson and I had a wonderful time today at Reynolda Village. We enjoyed taking pictures in the garden.

Orchids in the greenhouse ~

My hair certainly looks gray in this bright sun, 90 degrees ~

He loved taking pictures of this sort of tame rabbit ~

After visiting the bookstore, where I bought him a Latin dictionary, we had ice cream here ~

Praise (Violin) by Christine Garner
Praise (Violin)

I found this cute video, Ape vs Tigers in Kim Komando's newsletter. I can't hear the sound, but it looks cute. I have heard her radio program late Sunday afternoons, and I recently subscribed to her newsletter. It is very informative about technical things and contains interesting videos, tips, etc.

I found this wonderful post about music, and I can't even view the videos! Something is wrong with my sound on You-Tube on blogs. They play for me at You-Tube. Strange ~
