Thank you, Deby, It was a very nice day. You and your daughter are in my new prayer journal too. Hugs back ~

Thank you, sweet, Mimi, I added the PS after you visited earlier. :o)

Nancy, well my silly brother tired one earlier on the phone saying it was the IRS and I owed them $3000. But no other tricks. The funny thing was, I was born early, and nobody believed my Daddy that I was born. :o) Finally my mother's mother believed him. Thanks for your kind words.

I'm ashamed to admit I've not read Fanny Crosby's biography. I'll plan to do just that when we're on vacation. Excellent subject matter. Oh that I were more like her.

Dear Jane, Jodi and Maxine,
Thank you for your sweet comments. I am still celebrating today with a friend. And it was a lovely day here.

Jane, I recently heard a narration on the radio about Fanny Crosby's life, and it was very interesting. I'm sure you will enjoy reading about her.

Cathy -
A belated Happy Birthday to you! I'm slow but I usually catch up with the celebration days.

Thank you for sharing about Fanny Crosby. I learned about her when I was a small child and I've always loved her music. It touches my heart in ways others don't. I think knowing her story through the years made it seem as if I could go on when things were hard. She is such a blessing to my blind friends in the care centers where I minister. They are encouraged that God can use them, too.

The song "Pass Me Not" always makes me a bit sad. I remember as a young girl thinking how terrible it would be if Jesus passed me by and I didn't respond. It was often sung at the end of services in the church where my father was the pastor and at times I knew there were some who were saying 'no' to God's voice. It grieved me then. It does now. Thank you for sharing it today.

I got your email. You are always an encouragement to me. I'm glad I could lift your heart a bit today.

Blessings to you, my friend. I will be back soon.
~Adrienne
