Word Filled Wednesday

Jesus on Cross

Isaiah 53:4 -
Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

Isaiah 53:5 -
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

A perfect reminder for this holy week, Cathy. The sacrifice He made for me and you is so great. How can we not respond in love?

Love you,
Debbie

Blessings Cathy... Praying these verses for the 3 urgent prayer requests:Amber, Abby and Emma!

Beautiful poster and verses! Such a timely reminder for this Holy Week!

I claimed these verses so many times over my adopted daughter when she was hospitalized from age 13 to 16... final time that I was there in prayer for her, was when she was recuperating in a full body cast because her meds broke her back in 3 places...she needed to relearn everything in therapy. But she's alive & survived & the glory belongs to God & these verses!

I'm so thankful that Jesus bore our griefs, our sorrows! It's so hard to imagine all He took all our transgressions as He was wounded & bruised for us and our sin! His love and peace is more than enough!

May you have a wonderful and peaceful week as you prepare to celebrate & enJOY His Resurrection!

Love & peace & thanks sweet friend,
(((hugs)))
Peggy
