Refreshing Rain

I went outside today after some much needed rain. My little flower garden looked very refreshed. During the summer, when it was so dry, I did a post about rain here.

Psalm 104:13 -
He watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.

Psalm 68:9 -
Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, whereby thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary.

Acts 14:17 -
Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.

Glad you got some rain, Cathy. They are saying we may get some tomorrow. I pray we do! We are definitely in need of it in Alabama. Water is getting scarce!

Thanks, Barb, I hope ya'll get some rain too. We got a little, but we do need more. We don't need for our water to be getting scarce! I have taken a few 1/2 gallons out for the birds and to water a few plants. I like to use the hose!

Cathy, as always your blog is beautiful, and so inspirational. Wish you could send some of that rain to us here in California, where we have several fires going in the southern part of our state. Please keep the firefighters and the everyone there in your prayers!

Blessings,
Martha

Thank you for your sweet words, Martha.:o) We did not get very much. It could have been only 1/2 in. We just pray for everyone to get the needed rain. And we do need to pray for the people in California and the firefighters.
